To tell you the truth, I didn't expect it either. Obviously he is a great guy, but they hadn't known each other very long and it seemed like she would be far more upset over Sirius's death than this problem with her love. She seemed to over react in my opinion...

Whatever happened with Percy and his girlfriend from Hogwarts, though? Are they still together or is that over?

Hmmm...I think, and this is a educated guess, that they went together in OotP, but, braken up shortly after it....Didn't she die, in HBP?

You see, I was absolutely fine with Ron/Lavender simply because of all the jokes attached to it. That made the whole thing worth while. Not to mention it seemed to have brought Ron/Hermione closer together.

I agree. I think the Ron/Lavendar was just to make some comedy in the book and make it seem insane that ron would be with anyone besides Hermione. As for Tonks/Lupin I think it was a shocker becuase jk gave us the idea that it was sirius this whole time then it wasn't at the end. I hope they stay together but I always imagine lupin a little older than than tonks to be a good match up. For percy and penelope clearwater, I think she was mentions once more in the books but I can't remember what for. For percy, to you think he's going to be in a relationship at a time like this? He's life is nothing but the Ministry so much he hates his family! I think it was just a school dating for him.
